I too am a work in progress. I have had feedback from many patients, and people whom have read my articles, that they find my personal sharing relevant and helpful on their own healing paths. So, I am willing to open myself up to sharing this – if it will help others. And truthfully, it helps me too, by helping me make sense of my trials and tribulations. In the past I have been a bit weirded out by people who “blogged” and made their lives public, however as I grow in myself and hide less, feel less ashamed and more willing to embrace my foibles and follies, I am much more comfortable in sharing myself with the world. As a previously very private person, this is definitely not a place I ever thought I would be in, but it feels good, and more authentic to be willing to open up. I love it if this motivates you, too, to reach inside yourselves to recognize those things that you, too, might have to share if you look beneath your insecurities. We all have a gem inside of us waiting to shine. And we all have the same dust and grime and self-doubt clouding it, waiting to be cleared away. We’re all in this together. So expect more “blog-type” updates on my website and through my newsletter e-mail-outs.
