Wow, already mid-December! I had such high hopes that this area of my website would be a little more actively used by me. Though I realize that sitting down to share my thoughts requires time, and that is somewhat of a precious commodity!
I was tempted last night to skip the Candlelight Yoga Celebration at Hot Bodhi Tree due to the fact that my house was a mess, my daughter was dilly-dallying on her supper, my newsletter was not yet sent out to my distribution list, I had emails to tend to and we are leaving for Mexico on Saturday! so I need to get myself and the kids packed.
At 6:45pm, before the 7pm class (which I was not yet registered for... ) I was too called to go rather than not.
It was an amazing experience. I have never done a class with Tina before but have heard amazing things about her. They were all true. Witty, authentic, wise and wonderful, she led us through chants, the creation of blessing cords, partner yoga... all resulting in me feeling wonderfully balanced and as though all the hurry and rush that I was feeling before were for not and the thought of time passing once again slowed down and wasn't so crushing.
It was a great reminder that sometimes what we need isn't more time, but rather we need to BE more present in the time we do have.
